Synch to Palm Desktop at Home / Outlook at Work?

I've been using a Handspring Visor Platinum for the past five years, and Santa just brought me a Palm TX that will now take its place. After looking through the user manual I think I know the answer to this question, but wanted to check with people who are more knowledgeable first!

I have used the Palm Desktop application both at home and at work, but would now like to synch with Outlook at work while continuing to use the Palm application at home (which is what my wife's PDA also synchs to). From reading the user manual I think the PDA won't care that it's synching to two different applications on two different PC's, it just uses a different conduit to send the info to a particular PC-based program -- one that I'll specify when I install the updated Palm software on each PC.

Will this work? Thanks for your help!

The installation shouldn't care and you can sync easily to two computers.

I would recommend though the following:

1. Force the sync to Handheld Overwrites Desktop on the home PC. Make all changes either at work or on the handheld and allow the desktop at home to "view" the changes.

The reason is to avoid duplication on the platforms. If you set both office and home up to "sync" you will get duplications....they just kinda creep in.

Also, you do know that you will not be "sharing" the information with your wife's PDA assuming it's a Palm? She can see your information on the desktop only when she switches to your username account but this information is not commingled.
