Sync with outlook

My palm died and I want to switch to a smartphone to replace it. I am confused about which phones can sync with outlook. Looking through phones' attributes and some say "PC Sync" such as the Blackberry Curve. Others such as the Pearl don't have this. Is this the feature I am looking for or what? Any recommendations?
 
Any smart phone can be sync's with outlook. Microsoft Sync will do the syncing for the smart phone and to say "smart Phone" I mean any phone that has some sort of data capability. Hope that answers your question.
