Sync PALM TX with Outlook and then Outlook to HTC Desire

I have just purchased an HTC Desire and will be using Outlook 2007 (2010 when released) to sync the Desire to my desktop.

I want to transfer the data in my Palm TX to Outlook 2007 for onward transmission to my Desire.

I have installed "Palm Outlook Conduits Updater"

Can anyone tell me how to get the Palm TX data into Outlook 2007 to start the process?

I found some instructions:-

Step 7: Open Outlook, and open the ?Handheld? folder above your Inbox

Step 8: Delete the note with your username

Step 9: Connect your Palm device to the computer, and perform a HotSync operation.

I cannot find the ?Handheld? folder above your Inbox

Any help would be appreciated

I have found some instructions:-

Programs/All Programs-->Palm-->PIM Conduit sync-->Sync with Palm Desktop. Restart your computer then do the same thing above but pick Sync with Outlook.

I have now Hotsynced to Outlook.

My contacts are now in Outlook by my Calendar is not.

In:-

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

I have Outlook.pst at 2001KB

Would this be big enough for records going back to April 1997 plus numerous anniversaries?
 
Mire information.

I have run Microsoft Office Diagnostics and it found one problem; it did not say what it was but is was in the last phase of the routine i.e. some Outlook/Office software glitch.

I see that TX Contacts, Memos (Notes in Outlook) have been brought forward and backup some other files ( 3 x PDB + 1 x PRC)

Still looking for solutions please
