Dude, their way of compsosing music is unbelievable..Romeo is a mastermind and just check out the end of The Accolade for proof...Its amazing how they compose all those sounRAB into one Amazing Riff

Symphony X is by far the most wicked progressive metal band ever....michael romeo writes all of the music and he shreRAB the most amazing riRAB....right now by far one of my favbourite banRAB..and along with russel allan amazing vocals.he has such range...i suggest you check them out...for amazing vocals check out either accolade or accolade II and also be sure to check out Candlelight Fantasia.for everything else every song is equally amazing

I've heard of the band Symphony X but haven't actually had the chance to hear their music. My favourite progressive metal band is Dream Theater. Do Symphony X sound anything like DT? What are their best albums?

Well i have heard that DT and Symphony X are similar....mostly in technicalities....but i find symphony sound much more "Flowey" with their technical music...And i dont like DT but LOVE Symphony X....best albums are V:The new Mytholegy, The odyssey, The divine wings of tragedy..all amazing

They are amazing, nuff said. The odyssey is an absolute treasure. I've seen them live twice. Romeo is a god.

Yeah they do sound a lot different....And the only reason i think people are saying this is because there both progressive.

Oh they do sound different, I just meant they can get a bit boring with their technical proficiency.
