hey, does anyone know anything about the Symbian OS? is there anything to the idea that it's the best option for all the new capabilities we're seeing emerge?

and, is this a complete list of trends for 2006? can anyone think of something else? i'm wondering about wifi, myself...

And yes, I agree... UMA is going to be a big deal, especially as WiFi and WiMax coverage becomes more and more ubiquitous. I mean, what happens when you live in a city that's got municipal coverage? You'd very rarely need to use a traditional cell network. Right?
