Symbian S60 needs more beauty?

Hi,
I was watching a video of the Ipohone Interface: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgW7or1TuFk

And there is just no way I want that thing as the Nokia N95 beats it hands down, but I could not stop and think that S60 needs some more visual candy.
I know that Feature pack 1 is supposed to do this, but I'm not sure if that's enough. Do you guys think they need to step up the visual candy?
Or should S60 stay with a more functional more austere looking interface?

I think that S60 can be have more eye candy, but then with more eye candy they really have to increase the ram size, and start making bigger batteries, cause eye candy GUI's take up a lot more resources

Nokia are clearly trying to undercut the iPhone.
Cheap, non-LiPo batteries.
Insufficient RAM.
Budget casings/externals.
But why put that lot in your flagship model ?

If they'd avoided the temptation to do so, they'd have addressed the three main N95 issues.

Memory issues.
Unimpressive battery life.
Creaky, unergonomic externals.

iphone is great looking and has a sweet looking ui, but they have kinda screwed themselves since the target market for the iphone is one that most likely texts a lot....good luck with that on a touchscreen only interface....i think s60 with some simple adjustments to some themes, adding glass like graphics to some of the icons and such would make it look great

How true.
The only people gunna buy these things are early adopters.
Power users won't go near them because they're dumb-phones.
Business users won't want them for lack of functionality.
Kids won't use 'em for lack of a keypad to text.
Music on the hoofers won't go near 'em 'cos it won't fit in your pocket.
And who else is gunna buy an outsized Razr-wannabe ?

It's almost like Apple made it for ... Apple.
The Mac of mobiles.
