I think this is legal, because I see the copyright is made by siemens

But even not a legal, that's no problem
because the F/W is very compatibel with my phone
Mp3 bugs is clean
battery life up to 2 day
compatibel with java games
Sound more loud
etc
so SX1 doesn't have a problem like V12
 
all updates are LEGAL, but some are in winswup mode (nonofficiall, but still siemens product) and some are in update tool mode (officiall - the one you can download at siemens web site).
You will loose waranty with winswup, and with update tool you wont
 
News on v15
- volume increased
- ebuilt_In filter is used instead of eringing
- mp3 player bugs fixed
- changes in java midlet installation procedure
- browser fixes (crash when remove mms ap)
- stability of MMC improved (frequency decreased from 16mhz to 12mhz)
- CTS hardware support enabled
- fixed stability issues during download

later edit: sorry, i have read just now that i will loose my warranty. but i have a question... if i update to rev15, and then i need to use warranty for my mobile phone, can`t i reflash it with the official version 12 ?
 
I use FW 15, but I don't lose my warranty
with themes that I patch from randomi too
maybe that is my luck, but I try this 2 times and no problem

@fen_tzu: maybe you didn`t loose your warranty because you didn`t have a software problem that implied reflashing (and so the siemens service center to recognise that you have semi-legal software), you had just a hardware problem...

and what`s the difference between "ebuilt_In filter is used instead of eringing" ? (not about the max volume)

Can anyone tell me what is the latest official fw version for sx1 greece-turkey and where can i get it from?I already have v 13 installed from an authorized siemens service, does anyone know why in the siemens site the latest available is v 12?
