SWYPE ... official version for N8 .... now available !

I like using Swype and it helps me a lot when I text...I used it a lot when I had my X6..now I just want a quick "send" inside the keyboard instead of having to push Check mark and Send ...once portrait swype is enable you can text with one hand
 
I wonder if there will be any draw backs... like affecting your typing in general. Well I learned to like T9 independent of a regular qwerty... well I guess it's just a matter of taking a bit of time. It is quite impressive the accuracy of it all. I still miss hardware buttons and texting with one hand without looking :)
 
nah it doesn't affect your typing at all. unless all you do is type in slang, it doesn't predict all the slang words real well. but since it's so fast and accurate, you don't even need to use it.

i like T9 as much as qwerty tbh. just depends on whether i feel like typing with one or two hands lol

you should adjust the speed vs. accuracy settings for your first time. i set mines to 750 for my first time and it helped a whole lot. then turned it down gradually. the swype tips definitely help too.
