Swollen zits?

I get this horrible type of zit every so often on my forehead... it's under the skin with no head and is a hard mass, and if I irritate it too much by trying to squeeze it, etc, then the area surrounding the pore swells up (about the circumfrance of a quarter) and it looks like I have a huge lump on my head! I tried poking a sterile needle into it and some clear juice came out, but it's still raised, swollen, and hurts! Anyone else get these and have tips on how to get rid of them?

It might be a cyst. I have chronic cysts on my cheeks. They flame up every few months. I went to the dermatologist and she injected it with a shot of cortizone. Look up cysts on the interent and see if that's what you have. If so, go see the doctor.

Cortizone shot is the fastest way to shrink a swollen zit but there is a risk it could leave a dent (though the probability is not very high) which may or may not go away. You could try some BP treatment like Clearasil's Persagel 10which has 10% BP and/or tea tree oil.
