Hello, a week before christmas I'm pretty sure a spider bit me on my right forearm in 3 spots. On christmas eve my right armpit started hurting and eventually it swelled to a lump that is painful. I've gone through 3 bottles of extra strength tylenol and I am getting pretty frustrated. The bites are just small marks but they still haven't healed which seems weird to me. It is painful to sleep because I end up waking up in pain from the lymph node. I also have been waking up sweating 2 or 3 times pretty bad. I had a fever when it first started swelling but since then I've had tylenol in my system at all times pretty much so my temperature has been normal. I am trying to avoid going to the doctor to try to save money and because I dont have insurance. Is there anything I can do to get my arm to heal up and this lymph node back down or is it a waiting game? Im sure the spider wasn't a black widow... should I be using a certain medicine to clear this up or will my body eventually fix itself? The pain from this is getting unbearable and I'm losing a lot of sleep. Any insight is appreciated....thank you!!
