Swollen lymph node after allergy shot

I looked around online, and couldn't find anywhere that said this is a usual side effect of allergy shots.

I've been on shots for years. I got my shot on Tuesday. Wednesday I started to notice that my armpit hurt on that side. Today it hurts more, and it's visibly swollen.

Has anybody else ever had a swollen lymph node in the armpit after getting their shot?
 
I called the allergist this morning and they wanted me to come in so they could see it. Of course, I'm working an hour from where my allergist is, so there wasn't any way that was going to happen. I get to go in on Tuesday so they can see it (if it's still there) and they're cutting back my shot dosage.
