Swollen Lip Problem - Help!

The quiet one

I can't believe this is happening. I was feeling fine a few days ago, and now I am dealing with an unknown medical problem that has me really scared.

The problem started on Thursday when I noticed my gums were feeling sensitive and aching. That night, I agressively flossed and used mouthwash. The next day, I woke up alarmed to see my bottom lip swollen. However, throughout the day, I could feel the swelling going down.

Yesterday, things got worse The swelling returned and didn't go down. I felt severe burning in my mouth and inside lips when I tried to mouthwash. I rinsed with peroxide, and it caused lots of bubbling and white spots on my inside lip. A sure side of open sores. I started feeling pain in my lower jaw while I touch it. Severe pain when I tried to brush and the toothpaste hit my lip.

This morning, the problem is much worse, and woke me up after 2 hours of sleep. The swelling as increased greatly in my face, jaw pain is worse, and I feel like my face might be swelling. My tongue is now acting especially underneath the tongue.

THis now has me very scared, and I'm afraid my face is going to swell up like a bubble and I won't be able to talk or eat. Yet, my only option today is to go to the ER and I don't have health insurance. I've tried looking up my symptoms online, and I just can't find anything that really matches my symptoms. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like an allergic reaction...this can be very serious, your windpipe can swell and you won't be able to breath, You must get medical help immediately.

Would an allergic reaction cause your inside lips to hurt and be very sensitive? I'm gonna lay off the mouthwash today and try benadryl Seems like I get much worse afer I rinse.
