Switching Gophones

I'm a t-mobile type of guy, love the network, BUT i use to be with at&t (and i ran into some financial problems in which i owe at&t Helllllla money lol) but i need an extra line for personal calls. I had my LG shine for about a month before i ran into complications so its like brand new, and i was wondering if i buy a Gophone, can i just switch out the sim card into my LG Shine and use that instead?
 
You mean can you put a GoPhone SIM card into an LG Shine? Should be fine I imagine, you can even get an iPhone and put in on prepaid service. (sounds silly, trust me I know, but when I worked in customer care I did see 2 people that did it).

Careful with the Shine. I had it and luckily I had already ordered my new Sony Ericsson off eBay and moved all my information onto the memory card..because one day the keys quit working. Just sporadically. Like..they worked in the morning and then I got a text later that day and I went to check it and my keys wouldn't work and the phone started randomly opening things..it was awful. I had the phone...maybe a year. But my baby would get ahold of it and play with it so that probably had something to do with it.
 
thanks i plan on gettin a gophone and swappin out the gophone sim card to put into my LG Shine, i like the phone, it makes me sad that i can't even use it lol but i really need that extra line. and i know the gophones have unlimited mobile to mobile so thats a pluss being that its prepaid, right?
 
They do and that does make it better. I just use my phone way too much to switch to prepaid, plus I have my fiancee on my family plan so it's just easier that way. But everybody's different. :-D
