switch to AT&T?

I was wondering if you guys think I should wait 1-2 months with the possibility of being let down by T-Mobile, or just switch to AT&T and get their curve? I like T-Mobile bc I have 600 anytime minutes with free nights and weekends, unlimited texting and a $19.99 unlimited blackberry add on for $81.00 a month. AT&T has a crappy 450 minute plan with "unlimited" nights and weekends (that actually has a limit) and their blackberry add on is $29.99. What exactly is 3G and what would WiFi be used for? Is the T-Mobile curve supposed to be THAT much better than the one that's out now? Sorry for all of these dumb questions, lol. Im just curious to see what other T-Mobile people think.

I have T-Mobile and I'm waiting. I've never been impressed with their service. I know someone who recently switched to At & T from T-Mobile (iPhone), and admits T-Mobile is much better. I want the Wifi so the phone will work with Hotspots@home. I should be able to lower my plan. Be patient.

what you need to consider before you switch is the etf and...the monthly service over the 2 year term. add that up and if it suits you financially, then so be it.

i say be a procative consumer and analyze the pricepoints first,...then go from there.

thats my 2 cents.

From what I have seen you will not find better plans with more bang for your buck than at T Mobile. If you ust have a curve right away take Mellisas advise and go shopping for an unlocked phone. If you can wait for the new TMO WIFI unit (8820)you will be able to use Hotspot @ Home service. I have 3 H@H phones now and cant wait to add that feature to my BB! Perfect signal in the home at all times!

Actually if you think about it. If you pick up an Unlocked Curve it will eventually pay for itself, since the rates at AT&T are much Higher. With just a data plan you'll be saving $10 at least at month. So over a year thats $120 alone. That's half of a Curve! I say stick with TMO they will get the phone eventually.

Thanks for the good advice guys! I was so desperate to get rid of that 8700g that I ordered an 8800 to hold me over. It will be here friday. I need to learn patience.
