On a related subject, my wife & I got new phones at our VZW store a couple of months ago. While there, I asked a CSR whether I could change my phone # if I wanted to. The rep said yes, but it would cost $15. In this case, I'm talking about getting a new phone #, not simply transferring the phone # to a different phone. I'm not sure if you would have to go to the VZW store to do this, or whether you could just call them, but I don't think you can just change your phone # online without getting Verizon involved directly.
