I have been using Differin gel 0.1% for the past 2 and a half months and my derm called in Tazorac for me instead today because I still have not reached desired results. I only have whiteheaRAB on my chin i am trying to get rid of, nothing else. Well, except now because Differin has brought it up to the service and i now have red bumps on my chin. Within the 2 and a half months being on Differin, I got a horrible (initial?) breakout about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I didn't have one within the first couple of weeks being on Differin. I haven't started using the Tazorac. What my question is, is if I switch to Tazorac, will I get another initial breakout (because it is stonger than differin and will pull more out) or will it just start clearing rather than making it worse? I use mild soap free cleanser at night and then after use Differin and then Clindamycin. In the morning just wash and use clindamycin. Has anyone gone through the same thing?? I would like to know how it went... Thank you!! Sorry for the long post...
