Swine Flu in My School! HELP?

Hello my Brothers school has a pupil in it who has swine flu. The school told my mother to carry on sending him to school. My mother doesn't want in case he gets swine flu. She also has a feeling not to send him. What shall we do ? send him or let him stay home? there are only 1 and half weeks left of school for him. Thank you! Also were can i buy the best swine flu proctective masks?

I would send him to school with a mask and ensure that he is washing his hands several times throughout the day (I'd give him hand sanitizer to take to school even).
