Swine Flu - Big Deal, Or Media Hype?

Ok first off I'm going to start by saying that I am not in USA which I'm assuming is where the majority of Y!A's participants come from. I'm from New Zealand, and yes unfortunately my country has several cases of swine flu. SO, my overall question is: is the whole thing a flop, or should we start worrying? Let me know your thoughts, please.

I really think the media is hyping this into epic proportions. It's basically the same as a seasonal flu so the majority of people infected will get over it. I'm not worried about it at all really.
 
Media Hype

A friends brother and his family including an 8 month old baby got it in Texas and he said it wasnt even as bad as the normal flu...more die from that every year than whats going on now. Its just different and scary and I hate how the media is using this for rating and to scare us.
