Sweet 16 dance party ideas?

Watch super sweet 16 on MTV. Those parties are the craziest. Maybe yours won't be quite as huge but you can definitely get some crazy ideas that will put you party over the top.
 
My birthday is in a while, but i want it to be amazing. I want it to be the usual dance party type thing with music and stuff, does anyone have suggestions for songs? and what kind of food and drinks should i provide? also the one main question i have is - does anyone know of any good places to rent to have the party? not something tooo big, but pretty big. I live around the Toronto area so if anybody has any ideas that would be great, also even if its not just one place in particular, just places that are everywhere and i could find one. and also just add in any extra stuff you would add in to make it more fun. I just want it to be really big. :) so all help is very much appreciated! thank you all soo much in advance!!! :D
