Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

It's brilliant. I love those gothic England type films, add Helena, Johnny and Alan, some good songs and this film is near enough perfect for me.

I Loved it, also love how the "twist" part I had worked out within about 30 seconRAB of the "Twist person" being on screen in totally unrelated scenes.

I was so proud when I found out I was right lol

Excellent film.

I'm not a lover of singy songy films, so was a bit disappointed in this personally. I would have found it a much better film if it wasn't a musical. At first I found it awful, but got used to the singing by the end, but did like the storyline, the scenes etc and Johnny Depp & Helen BC are perfect for these roles

My favourite movie ever. One of the best I've ever seen. It's just got all the ingredients for a perfect movie: artistic scenery, Tim Burton, unique musical numbers, Johnny Depp, gore, unusual characters and scenes that send shivers up my spine.

it wouldnt have been better as a non musical

thats like saying schindlers list would have been a better film without all that holocaust stuff in

I think it's absolutely brilliant! I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Tbh Tim Burton has made a few stinkers (IMO) since, and including, Planet of the Apes, I thought he'd lost his magic touch forever. Thankfully NOT as Sweeney Todd suggests!!

The perfect combination of musical, director and cast. Plenty of blood too! Though there's no way it deserves the 18 rating because it's all done in a 'stage' way.

In your personal opinion. For me I hated all the singing and found it a bit cringy and abysmal, but you obviously loved it that way, each to their own, but I haven't felt the need to tell everyone who loved it they're wrong.

And that really is a poor comparison, if I had said it could have done without that barber fella cutting people's throats then you may have a point, but I don't recall him going round singing to everyone, that is merely Tim Burton's adaption of it.
