I really disliked this movie...it was just too much of the same old tim burton style-casting johnny depp and helena bonham-carter, and mostly black and white with a little color. And then they left the whole daughter plotline hanging completely!

Johnny Depp is one of the greatest actors of our generation. Our children will be looking at him as we look at Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and Jack Nicholson.

BTW where did you get your avatar Blondie? :wiggle:

i wanna see this so bad..i love Helena Bonham Carter and Alan Rickman..i'm not a Depp fan at all though..so it's going to be hard for me to watch a movie where he stars haha

I think the movie was brill, and Johnny was amazing in it. Though I don't recommend the visit to the popcorn stand before hand lol.

Have to agree, but he does still pull off the creepy look.

I work in a theater and the trailer is on The Heartbreak Kid and a few others mangers and myself were going in all weekend just to watch the preview.

yeah it was but I think it was expected..not predictable but I saw no happy ending. atleast the daughter ended up okay we're guessing

I'm so excited for this movie. I love the musical and this looks like it'll be fantastic. Plus, I'm a huge Helena Bonham Carter fan, which definitely isn't making me any less excited about it.

SO EXCITED for this movie!

I've already got the icon all ready

I know ROCKSTAR, I'm so use to Michael Cerveris as Sweeney Todd that I find it odd that he now has hair and doesn't have a leather coat...

this movie is amazing...one of johnny/tim's best movies! i didn't think it was that violent

BLONDIE! Thank you thank you thank you thank you for the trailer!!!!! :yay: It looks so good! I'm all excited now :D

Joining Depp is Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett, Sweeney's amorous accomplice, who creates diabolical meat pies. The cast also includes Alan Rickman, who portrays the evil Judge Turpin, who sends Sweeney to prison and Timothy Spall as the Judge's wicked associate Beadle Bamford and Sacha Baron Cohen is a rival barber, the flamboyant Signor Adolfo Pirelli.
