Loving the avs, Blondie!
And loving the Johnny love, and I really can't WAIT for this movie to be released!! :blinkie:

Oooh, yes, the cast is to die for. Depp and Bonham Carter and RICKMAN and Baron Cohen?? :thud: I can't wait. I agree that I get ridiculously excited when Johnny shifts from speaking to singing - I can't wait to see him sing full songs!! :blinkie:

I hate that they aren't making it seem like a musical. I know so many people that think it's not a musical just based off one but that there is no real musical parts to it.

Woot to Tim and Johnny for having a good friendship. you can see they know how to make a good movie--and have a life as well.

My friends is one of my favorite scenes of the movie! He's so transfixed and lost in his own logic and vengeance, JD played that exceptionally well! His inflections were right on the money.

Hee! I was so amused during the Worst pies in London sequence! Helena was so delightfully dark and funny.

Blondie those avatars are amazing!

This movie is going to be such a trip. I really hope I get to see this one in the theater. I want to see an audience's reaction to this type of story.

I've seen twice now that it's actually out so three times total. Plus I pop in to do theater checks anytime I get a free moment.

One thing that threw me off when I was screening one of the prints we got at my theater is that when it over so many of the crew that watched it were shocked at how bloody and violent it was. It's about a serial killer and on top of that it's rated R, of course it's going to be bloody and violent.

I was a little surprised though that "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd" wasn't in it (at least not in lyric form) it's not my favorite song from the musical but it's just a staple song in my mind. I think my favorite song though is the Johanna Reprise; the harmony's between JD and the actor that played Anthony were amazing. Of course after that would be "Epiphany" followed by "A Little Priest"

I really want to see this movie mainly cause I think that Johnny Depp is amazing in everything he does! I can't wait for this movie! :)

ETA: I watched some of the trailer and its looks great! :D So excited for this movie to come out! So very!

I know..

He is one of the best, (if not the best) versatile actors. He can play any role and make it work. I mean, he can go from a Drunken Dirty Pirate (POTC), to a Sophisticated Children's Author (FN) and own that role and make you believe it. He is a great character actor, he can pull off anything.

Iv seen other actor's try it. Jim Carrey - From Comedy to Dark and it dosen't work for me, but Johnny can go from Comedy, to Dark and I don't think twice about it. I think he's wonderful.

Yeah, in his article, he said that Tim Burton shut down the whole production for him, cause he wasn't able to commit to the project, because he was so worried about his daughter. He even told Tim, he might ought to find a replacement and Tim said no and shut the whole production down, then when she got better, they went straight back to work. I think that says alot about Tim and Johnny's relationship. I am glad he done that, cause at this point, I feel Johnny is perfect for the role, from the trailer.

I thought JD got singing lessons? Not that it doesn't suprise me he'd teach himself, he is uber talented.

This movie is utterly amazing, I recommend it to anyone old enough to appriate it. Deffinately not a movie for children or for people with weak stomachs. I went and bought the soundtrack the very next day, the singing and lyrics are just wonderful.

I was really impressed with Helena Bonham Carter, I keep forgetting that she's a really talented woman. I loved her in the scene where she's singing about her worst pies in London.

Johnny Depp deserves an Oscar nom for this one, he just melts into his roles. Which makes me happy, I just love actors who care more about the craft than anything else.

Alan Rickman and Timothy Spall were both wonderful as slimy creepy disgusting old evil men. When the Alan's character would look perverted at the barber's wife or child is gave me the creeps.

The younger stars were wonderful and I'm interested to see where they go next.

My favorite part oddly enough is the opening credits. My sister and I were sitting in the front row and the rain drops look like they were coming down on us. I was very disappointed that Burton didn't put anything into the ending credits. Like blood flowing down the side, or smoke floating about.

I would say it's Tim Burton's best movie to date.

when johny is singing my friends and he just belts out.... my jaw dropped!

and helena was amazing! i have alwasy loved her, i have always loved her acting, it was always so interesting and in this movie it just proved it! the worst pies in london is my favorite song!

I can't believe someone doesn't like Johnny....I'm just in shock right now.

I have no words.........seriously...how could you not like him?
