I drive a 1999 Toyota 4Runner, two wheel drive. Love it to death, but there's a problem. When I'm on the highway, going 60+, whenever I go over a bump, such as onto or off of a bridge, my vehicle sways from side to side (from the top, the car doesn't sway all over the road or anything). It's not such a big problem that it affects my driving or my safety, but it can be a little scary sometimes if I'm not expecting it. My dad says it's because the wheel base is not much wider than the top, and I've heard that older 4Runners can flip easily, but I'm a careful driver.
Anyone else have this problem, or heard of it? We've gotten the shocks replaced and the tires realigned, but it hasn't seemed to help much. Any solutions?
Thanks!
