Swapped logicboard on e60

whats up

backstory: nokia releases firmware update, doesn't make it clear that this will break blackberry. im super pissed. call nokia, "sorry, you'll have to buy new phone"

my friend morgan also has the e60 (he introduced me to it) with the older 2. firmware.....
so, i explain the whole thing to him, he's like "woah dude, thats ****ed! well, if you want, worse comes to worse and you can't fix it, lets just trade phones.." (he's got a brand new e61i anyway...) so today at work he brought me his, and i swapped the boards.

the result is my phone now WORKS how i want it to, and doesn't have his busted up case

****ing right, called up nokia regarding my craacked up screen. "sorry you have to buy a new phone and I'm like **** you, you're crazy." I search on the internet and find a replacement part from tessco but they were only selling it to authorized service centres. stupid eh?

well, what bothers me is the fact that THEY released software that wasn't ready, and expected ME to fix it by buying a new phone! its not like i broke the phone, or installed some 3rd party firmware or something!

wow, I think a class action law suit is what the doctor ordered. I can't believe nokia has declined so much in quality. I remember my 5190 used to be more solid than a brick.
