not possible to put wet clutch on 1098.
848 can go from wet to dry, but 4 the other way around you need welding inside de crankcasings. and even then u are missing an importand oil channel.....see u driling a whole in a casing don't think so.

trust me i know why. + have to check for primary gears to. primary of the 1098 crankschaft is (how u say this in englisch) with 'teeth' and not "conical" like 848. Need to change primary schaft off gearbox (wet clutch is schorter schaft) and i can go on like this......
we mod 848 to dry clutch for racing. price is someware between 5 and 6000 euro (racing gearbox, primary gears, clutch cover side engine, slipperclutch + work.
