Swallowing Problems

Okay, first to clarify, when I think about swallowing, or see someone swallowing or talking about saliva or anything to do with that, and sometimes just random memories, I start thinking about it and I'm not swallowing naturally. I have to make myself swallow instead of my brain doing it automatically. It keeps me up at night when I'm trying to go to sleep. It's nothing major, except sometimes when I swallow I'm swallowing to much saliva and my mouth gets dry so I can't swallow and I start choke. That barely ever happens, though, so I just go get a drink and then my mouth isn't dry so I can swallow. It's really annoying, and I have tried not swallowing to see if my brain would kick in and make me swallow normally, but not even that works. It's screwing up my concentration because I have to think about that instead of what I'm watching on T.V. or what someone is telling me about. Any help would be appreciated.
