Suzuki technical question. size of front wheel spokes on a 1997 DR350SE?

yesterday I bought this dual sport with 8 spokes missing on the front wheel.
I am too cheap to pay $40 for a whole set at the dealer. its a 21" front wheel. there are some NOS spokes on Ebay 194 M/M X 84.5S for a 21 inch front wheel. Just wondering how universal spokes are and how I would find my size.
yes 8 spokes are missing. every other one for eight straight. The rim looks true.
The seller acted like he didnt know they were missing. I think he was missing something. Like his grey matter.

may be cheaper & easier to get a second hand wheel complete?

Respoking the wheel is not an easy job.. so have a good look at the old one before you decide to buy some new spokes.. If its running out at all .. it may not be just a case of stick in the 8 that are missing...

Spokes are not universal.
They are year, make and model specific, for every wheel.
Depending on which spokes are missing, the entire wheel may have to be dis-assembled.
"Outside" spokes go right on, no problem.
"Inside" spokes, the wheel has to be taken apart to install them.
