The other day I was driving home from work and it was in heavily built up traffic, I noticed the spedometer wasn't working and when I got out of the traffic and tried to speed up my car wouldn't change gears and then it would randomly (it's an auto). The top speed I got to was about 40k.. but that was it. I've checked the transmission fluid but it doesn't have any idicator as to what is too low. Could it just be the fluid or since the spedometer isn't working is it likely to be more serious?
