OBD II shows code P0420 Problem Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
Question is can a bad oxygen sensor cause this code?? Car lost power and fuel efficiency. I was told if my cat conv was broken i would not feel it. But i do. Car has 88k miles.
The reason i dont wanna change cat conv is obvious. Dealer wants 1300 dollars for it.
Still need to pass inspection. Tho. Any help will be appreciated.
