Suzuki Method vs traditional (for violin)?

I think it sounds like a good idea, as long as you learn to read music.

Suzuki is a great method and can accomplish so much. The biggest problem is that most do not follow the entire program. Everyone seems to mix it with traditional or what makes money for the teacher.
