Suzuki Katana power and clutch question?

I have had my katana for about a year and a half and have always fixed my own problems with it. I have recently been having two problems. First is that when I am speeding up out on the road my bike feels like it wants to go but it feels like something is holding it back. Like it is not getting enough gas or something. The second thing is that when a pull the clutch lever in it is not fully taking the bike out of gear making it really hard to shift and the bike wants to stall when stopped. Any help with these two things would be great. Thanks
