Suzuki GS500F questions?

I'm looking into buying a '09 Suzuki GS500F. I want to know your opinions and self experiences with them. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can before buying one. Thanks!
 
Their great bikes and have a rep for reliability. The motor is sound and has been around for years. The down side is they only have so much power and not as much is available to upgrade or mod. The new ones have full fairing and look much cooler but that fairing will jack up insurance but this bike should be lower on insurance than other sportbikes already.
I have seen fast guys at track day out run guys on 1000's so just remember it is all rider and this would be a great bike to start on.
