Suzuki Every - Mini Van -2001 - Engine coolant problem?

My driver has poured water into the engine coolant, instead of coolant oils. Since he has done, the radiator seems to be heating up even when I drive a short distance. It boils and almost vapors all the water in the radiator. Before the water was poured to the engine coolant, it was working perfectly alright. Even I used to go 100+ on free road and travel 100s of kilometers at a stretch without a pause. But now, I cant go even a 10 mile distant.

Any help would highly appreciated. Why does this happen? What is the solution?

The radiator fluid needs to be 50/50. 50% water and 50% coolant. Also, you may need to replace the thermostat. It regulates the temperature. Thermostats cost about $15 and are pretty easy to replace.
