I am 6' 3" and weigh around 250 lbs. I have sat on the M50 and the length is alright, but will this bike have enough power to get me around? and especially if someone is on the back?
I am also looking at a Hyosung 650, but not sure how reliable they are.

an M50 has an 819 CC engine. Plenty to haul you around with. I believe it is rated for about 500 lbs total including accessories, rider and passenger. One thing you DO have to watch out for with the Suzuki lines is the height of the passenger pegs. I know on the C series (formerly Volusia), the pegs are so high you passenger better not be much over 5' tall or they will cramp up on long hauls.
I ride the C50T and have no problem keeping pace with the 1500 cc Harleys I ride with.

go with the C50 instead of the M50, the M50 has a terrible seating position where it hurts your back and keeps you wind blown at high speeds

I"m 6/4 280.. Rode a Vulcan 1500 for years.. just moved up to an Indian.. even the Harleys feel small to me.

The M90 is a nice bike... I'd recommend you go big a possible out the gate so you're not dissapointed...

Hyosun650? Cubic Inches and Big Frame bro.... more is better
