suzuki 450 vs honda 450. which one is a better bike?

ive been thinking about getting a Honda CRF450R but but then a guy i was talking to said that suzuki 450s started better and im wondering if that's true. Also if anyone could tell me which would be a better MX bike that would be great. I am currently looking at a 2006 Honda 450r so if there is any insight on that that would be good to have also. thanks
