Just watched this (again) and still can't get over how overwhelmingly stunning this movie looks (and sounRAB). Like a Technicolour dream/nightmare - the production design and general ambiance of the movie is as good as I've seen in anything. Pity about the odd bit of shocking dialogue... and those god-awful ballet scenes!

Anchor Bay's stunning double-discer DVD is available from Choices UK for

I love it, one of my favourites from Argento, I have the 3 disc limited edition on region 1.

Do you know it's getting a remake... terrible terrible.

it's the only film that i still can't watch to the end. terrifying!

(i saw profondo rosso the other day - very very good. many of its tricks and turns paved the way for modern teen horror predictability scares)

I didn't know they are planning to remake it... but it doesn't surprise me in the least. It's par for the course nowadays. I'll catch it on Sky Movies like every other remake. What's the documentary like on the 3-discer?

I think Profondo Rosso is Argento's best movie - stunning.
