Suspended Status ?

Has any heard of putting your number on suspended status for 10 dollars a month instead of canceling the contract?

Here is the deal. I am on my wifes account that I am divorcing in two weeks. My number with the BB isn't over until Sept/08. I really don't want to stay on her account...she looks at who I have been calling. Really don't want to pay the 200.00 fee though.

Its a long story why but I am moving to Altel ( God Help Me) after I end the contract with her. So that means I will have to buy a new BB plus any fees that I have to pay
 
some carriers do that, not sure about Tmobile but I think so
you can also do a financial change of responsibility on just your line so it is separated into another individual account... then she can't check it
 
You should be able to split it off in to two different accounts and stay with T-mobile until September. I split off my business accounts in to two accounts without much trouble last year.
 
that is what they call a "seasonal suspend" and is only valid for 90 days (unless you get a sup to override that for "special circumstances")
 
Change of responsibilty would be a cool move if you prefer to stay with T-Mo. That'll get you off your wife's account and you can finish up the contract in your own name, sans the ETF.. She'd have to call T-Mo and get the process started.
