Sushi's fish what is the diff?

Ok i went to the supermarket today, checking out the fish and something is bothering me. I saw in the frozen dept, salmon fish for sushi for like 14 buck per lb, and as I keep walking I see salmon fish that were cut lying on ice they were at least half the price, what is the diff?
 
it's the grade of the fish.
sushi is eaten raw.
the more expensive fish is probably ok for eating raw, whereas the other kind should probably be cooked before eating.
