Survival Of The Dead-New Low For Romero.

I was skeptical before watching this, and my instincts were proved right.
How can the (once) great man who brought us "Dawn..." have fallen so far.
This film is so bad (and lazily constructed) it's almost beyond criticism.

TWO glaring plot errors stuck in my mind.
The soldiers are considering taking the money from the truck and living in luxery- WHERE? how are they going to spend it in a World overrun by Zombies?

One soldier watches a Letterman-esque talk Show, where the host is making jokes about zombies on his laptop (as do i coincedentally!)*-The dead have risen and are eating the living, are we meant to believe that this Show (or ANY) would still be on air??
Even in "Dawn" the Emergency broadcast took over.

I'm not sure if Romeros feuding Irish Clans was supposed to be a statement on the troubles betweem north and south, even if this is so-what message is he trying to get accross?
The film is flawed, cliched, cheap and poor in every department-and I LIKED "Diary" too..
*watch US talk Shows on my PC-NOT make jokes about zombies-ta!:)

I agree but his films do have their wry humorous moments. Probably had more going for it than the last Resident Evil, and that cost a billion more to make.
