Survival of the dead - Anyone see it?

Definitely better than Diary of the Dead Mr Obseen.
Has a few gory moments, but focuses more on a bitter family rivalry. Still a good zombie flick, but wanted more especially after Diary
 
Its pretty good,much better than DIARY,few nice gory moments and the story is alright 2,DAY is still my fav of the 6,i wish george would get savini back though,the zombies dont look as good as they used to.
 
It's an OK movie, the story wasn't very good, they could have made it a lot more interesting with the Island idea rather than the feuding families thing.

Zombieland was much better.
 
The best zombie movie made in the past five years so it is. And it is a return to form for George. Diary was ok in it's own way but this movie feels more like George is back in his groove he likes. And it's independent as well not a big studio product so that is even better. No ties to keep George from doing what HE wants. My only complaint is that it didn't last long. It was around 87 minutes or so.
 
I quite enjoyed this film & I thought the storyline was quite clever.

I think the film deserved a bigger budget & better actors to truly do Romero's vision justice.
 
Nothing will ever beat Night of the Living and Dawn of the Dead.

Romero's newer Zombie flicks are too glossy, the crudeness and low budgetness of his original movies with gallons of blood and dodgy effects are classics.
