if so

is the tank heated (why/why not)
is the tank filtered (why/why not)
how big is the tank
what food you you feed it

I did, but he died :(

The tank wasn't heated or filtered, because we used room temperature filtered water, and we cleaned the tank every 2 weeks. The tank was pretty small, about 10 inches across and 7 inches tall.
We gave him food called Beta Bites :p

His name was Neptune!

I have owned two that lived in unfiltered, unheated, 5 gallon tanks. I fed it betta fish pellets from the pet store.

I do
no it is not.
no it is not
big enough for him
fish food.
His name is notadog. u did not ask.

I have one for 5 years now. The tank is not heated because it don't need to be. It is not filtered because it don't need to be. It's in a 10 gallon tank with 4 goldfish and I feed my beta regular goldfish food.

I did, he lived for 3 years. He got a pea every other day when he got older. He was a cute little thing.

I do!!
The tank is not heated. I live in Florida and the room temp keeps it at a constant 78 degrees. It's nice.
The tank is definitely filtered. If it wasn't It would get terrible. Plus the other fish (along with him) would probably die.
He is in a five gallon tank
I feed him Hikari Betta Pellets.

Yay bettas!

I had one named Velvet, they died, I had another one who I never named, she died 2 months after we got her out of water where a alegy eater died, it killed literally 7/8 of all the fish in my tank.
