Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on these boards so hopefully I am posting this in the right place.
I am 4 weeks post op from "hand assist" laproscopic surgery for a colon resection for diverticulitis. All went well, however I am having some issues with my 3 inch incision area at my bikini line. I did not have any stitches or staples everything was glued together the last of the glue came off just a few days ago. The area around the incision has been numb and itchy but in the last few days it has become extremely itchy and today clear fluid started to seep from the incision site, which oddly enough seems to be completely closed. There is also a faint rash around one of the laproscopic incisions near this incision. I saw the dr. yesterday and he said it all looked good and I was all healed and that I should just use some Gold Bond powder on the rash, however the seeping wasnt happening yesterday. There doesnt seem to be any other signs of infection or anything, so I was just wondering if anyone out there has ever had anything like this after their surgeries. Thanks for any advice anyone can give.
