It is now 10 days since the biggest oil tanker in the world was
hijacked by a handfull of pirates off the coast of Somalia.
What have the world's highly paid politicans done about it?

Why would politicians do anything about it? The tanker owners should be providing security if it is an issue (and it is).

The world´s highly paid politicians are not responsible for every thing that happens in the world.
The ship owners have to decide on their own to arm their ships and fight back. If the ships were US registered then we might do something .

It belongs to Saudi Arabia. They should handle it. If they want to keep paying ransomes, they can. If they hi-jack an American ship, I think we should level Somalia if necessary and get our ship back.

I believe it was a Saudi oil tanker, and they are folding like little girls and negotiating a ransom with the pirates.

Well the crew seem quite happy and not at all stressed, as they were interviewed via a radio link. Their only gripe being that they were locked up the whole time, think about that.
