Superstations without movies package

I read something in another thread about getting WPIX, KTLA, WGN, etc. without having a subscription to the Premium Movies bundle. Is this true? I really like those channels but I don't feel like paying over $15 per month to have them on top of a few movie channels.
 
Yes this is true. For $5.00 per month you can have the superstations. This is what I have.
 
It is called Superstations. $5 a month and also you get Family Channel if you don't already sub to it.

I have it as well. You might have to try a couple different CSR's to get it added. Some do and some don't from what I hear.
 
Superstation gives you 4 channels BS (now named PEACH), WSBK, KTLA and CW11. It doesn't give acces to any other channels... The familliy 1 is a complete different package...

Agents are not supposed to add the Superstations individually, unless used as a retention tool.

Since there is constent pression on the agent to sale, and sale some more, lots might bend the rule to get their bonus...

Also for clients that have Pop Corn (the French movie package) those channels could be added as Pop Corn plus, which would be only 4$ rather than 5$ if they select Supertations. Make sure you ask Pop Corn plus, otherwise agent will probably add Superstations.Lots of agents don't even know what Pop Corn plus is... I heard some telling the client they will get extra Super
 
I sub to Digital Standard, HD and Superstations. That's all. I get Family East and West.
 
Is it possible to NOT have these "superstations" included in the Movie pack? Why should anyone be forced to take these "superstation" channels if a person does not want them. It would certainly keep the price of the Movie pack down to approx $11 instead of the $16 that I am paying now.

Also why is the "superstation" pack for $5 not advertised by BEV. I have never seen or heard of this pack anywhere (until now) which is a shame because I know people out there that must have the movie pack, but JUST want the "superstations" and they are not even aware of these channels being offered without the movie pack.

Didnt you just ready what Ex Agent EV said,, its not really a thing that the public needs to know, its a tool agents use to keep the cx from leaving bell.. sheeesh.
 
I just canceled the movie pack today and was offered an option to keep some stations for $5/month. I didn't ask about the details of the offer tho....but now I know.
 
That means you pay:31$ for Digital Standard
10$ for HD
8$ for the Familly 1 theme pack
5$ for the Superstations...


Familly East an West are not included as part of the Superstations, they are part of Familly 1!
 
I don't sub to any themes at all. Just the Standard, HD and Superstations. I get Family East and West. DOn't know why, but I get them on my 9200.

If anyone doesn't sub to Family 1 and doesn't sub to movies, can you confirm you get family east and west with superstations.
 
I just called up and got Superstations added. I was asked several times if I wanted SuperChannel too for "only" $13 per month and the rep asked me how often I watched movies and a few other random and unrelated questions and then tried to sell a few other things to me and the call was over.

Quality Bell service.
 
Elite 09, I can confirm that I don't subscribe to Family 1 and DO subscribe to the Superstations and get Family East and West. I change packages on a frequent basis and never had a problem adding the Superstations as of last month.
 
Another question, can I get just the Movie Channels (MC West) without the super stations (which are not really super). What is the price? Do I have to cancel all of the package to get the part I want? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
 
I can confirm that the family channel DOES come with the superstations. Its not a secret though. Neither BEV or *C advertises it but they both offer them. You don't have to threaten to cancel to get them.
 
yeah family channel does come with superstations

at this moment i am only subbing to Digital Standred, US Networks (2nd feed), US Superstations, Sports 1, HDTV, NHL Center Ice & NFL Sunday Ticket.

And I get Family Channel.
 
You can not take the Movies East, Movies West or Movie Central whithout the Superstations. Superstations are included in the Movie packages

Movies are 19$ if you have less than 6 theme packas and 16$ if you have more than 6 themes



If that's really the case even the agents don't know about this...
 
I tried getting the superstations alone two weeks ago, no dice. The agent would not let it happen, I would have had to get the movie channels with them. Decided to pass, $19 is too much money.

Try again...agent might need a 5$ upgrade for his bonus and be willing to add it
