I didn't really care. Kinda sucks, but I like dthe movie overall. Kinda brought me back to when I was a kid and I was watching it with my brother and sister and we'd be all excited and stuff.

They left it kinda open, so I hope Lois Lane and Richard have a big fight and she takes her kid and lives with Superman. Just because the guy who played Superman was much hotter.
 
well i applaude them as defenders of our way of life. certainly you understand that there are people in our own country who do not support the military. the "american way" has become a standard of hate among other countries and even our own media to make the current administration's actions seem veiled acts for other veiled intentions.
 
It's just a phrase. Why don't you sit back and enjoy the movie without getting your panties all bunched up about something like a phrase changing.

They had thier reasons. If you dislike the movie beacuse of the phrase changing, just go back and watched the ones with Christopher Reeves in it.
 
This is Superman. Superman landed in the US. This is a movie about a comic book character. I think they should have kept it true to the comic book story line and kept Superman's motto consistent. This is a movie, it doesn't have to be politically correct. Superman's integrity is never in question, so why the political correctness?!

Marketing? I completely understand that reasoning. I just don't agree -- at all!

I have not seen the movie yet, but I could imagine laughing if I heard him say in some silly patriotic fashion "and the American Way".

I mean, comon, when was the last time you heard "and then American Way" said anywhere?
 
Oh and guess what they should have thought of the american dollar first since now I will only watch it for free and I have been waiting for it.
