Superman Returns Teaser Trailer...online at last!!

I love the music and the Brando voiceover, and the rest of the trailer is ok. What I don't like is Superman's new costume.

I definately prefer the edited version to the actual costume. The 'S' isn't big enough, the red is too dark, the boots are too small, the neck hole is too constricting. I think that's about it.

The world premiere of Superman Returns will be held at Grauman's Chinese theater in Hollywood on June 22. Just in case anybody wanted to know that!

HAHAHA! Exactly what all Superman fans are thinking! :) :) :)

I have to say, my biggest obection to this new movie is the dark red costume. The red is too dark, and the 'S' is too small. I realise the original Superman had a small 'S', but when they drew it bigger it was an improvement. Nobody would think the small 'S' was better. It makes superman look wimpy!

Look, here's how it's supposed to be:

:) :) :)

When this photo turned up on the Web a few months ago, I was delighted, thinking the designers had come to their senses and realised their mistake.

With the release of this trailer, it seems not! :( :( :(

I'm hearing the next trailer will be in spring.

I like others am also a bit perplexed as to why a trailer was not put together for the Super Bowl

Not good, not good at all.

The movie better rock!
(and I don't mean the Kryptonite kind! :) )

I've just seen it. It's a bit worrying that it looks like a remake of the original Christopher Reeve movie but with modern special effects. Not sure where the 'Returns' bit comes into play?

Thats why I was asking as any big summer blockbuster normally has a new trailer to be shown during the Superbowl which is why I was expecting a full trailer being released around now!

This from Superherohype. Q & A with Mr Singer
:)

Nothing major was revealed, but here are the highlights:

- Singer said Superman Returns is larger than both X-Men and X2.

- He wished he could have directed both X3 and Superman Returns.

- Lex Luthor is "more sadistic" (Singer's exact worRAB) in this movie, having been to prison for years.
- Lois Lane having a child and a fiance is the biggest problem (aside from Kryptonite) that they could think of to give Superman.
- The reason the "s" is so small on the costume is that they tried a larger S and it made Routh look way too small.

- There was never any competition between Singer's X-Men films and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man ones. Singer said he knew Raimi for 20 years and the only competition would be if they opened the same weekend.

- Singer said he thinks X-Men 3 will be great, now that he has seen the last trailer.

I was looking at some DC stuff and was wondering why not have Supes battle a guy like Darkside? You know, give him a real challenge?
I'm itching to see what he's done with this movie!

There ya go. The 's' is small 'cos it would have made whatshisname look weedy!
I said he needed BUFFING UP!!! geez, hit the gym dude! :D

I kind of agree with him about X3 being great!

It is a completely different plot from the original movies, and "Returns" is a key point. I don't think it's a big spoiler, to say that... *SPOILER* as the movie begins, Superman has been to earth, and left the earth and Lois Lane behind. Obviously, near the beginning of the movie, Superman...well... returns. *END SPOILER*
