I saw it at the IMAX at TheTech in San Jose. Well, saw MOST of it. When it got to the ending where Supes dove into the ocean and Lex was boarding his helicopter, the fire alarm went off.

30 minutes and an bunch of angry people later, they issued out refunds and vouchers. The movie was too long anyway... I'm not going back to see it but I'm still interested to know how it ends.

Could have killed the franchise at that point.
It's good they made Superman Returns first, then a better sequel.
Just like Batman series revamped at Batman Begins.

What I mean is Welling resembles what Reeve looked like younger. In the first episode that Reeve appeared in, theres this closeup on his face and on wellings, and they have almost identical eyes... facial structure is pretty close too if you take into account the age difference.

For me I guess it just makes it easier to suspend the disbelief, because in my head Reeve will always be the real Superman.
