Superman 3 was quite long enough in its original theatrical version,but the new boxset will have a 2 disc version,so we should expect a section on deleted/alternate scenes.
The extra scenes were simply pickups from the cutting room floor to extend the movie for US tv.
I'd be surprised if the complete long version is included.
The frightening thing is that the set contains a 2 disc version of Superman 4 aswell.
I believe the 9 disc set is actually going to be 11 on release,with 4 discs for the first movie,3 for part 2 and 2 each for the rest,although its already listed on some sites as 9 discs
