It was only a matter of time. David Zucker of the Scary movies fame is doing a spoof superhero film. It wont be out to next year by then im shaw we will be up to our ears with superheros.
 
I knew it!!

I am also predicting a natural disaster/end of the world movie.

OK, so that brings the list of genres parodied are..

Horror (Scary Movie)
Rom-Coms (Date Movie)
Teen Rom-Coms (Not Another Teen Movie)
Superhero genre (Superhero!)
 
Yeah I wonder how long it will take them to run out of genres to parody. Then again we will just end up with loaRAB of sequel like the Scary Movie films!
I just saw on IMDB that Superhero is going to be released in the US on the 9 Febuary 2007 so I assume the UK release will be around the same time. The only cast members they had were Greg Giraldo as Beakman and Eric Christain Olsen as Squak!
 
Oh, didn't know this was going to be released as a stand alone movie.

I read a while back (before Scary Movie 4 even went into production) that Scary Movie 4 was in fact going to involve the Superhero spoof element. I suppose they just dropped that in favour of the films they ended up spoofing.

Wasn't bowled over with Scary Movie 4, far from it in fact. But, there's a lot to work with, with the Superhero genre, so this movie might have a chance.

however when it comes to spoof films i would like date movie remade as an ultraviolent horror or a spoof on french films.
