Im personally looking forward to going to watch all these movies. What do you guys think about these movies is it about time we got superhero movies or are they boring ?

Who's playing Superman in the new movie?

I am really looking forward to the new Batman and of course Spidey (still haven't seen the sequel yet, though!)

o yeah Fantastic four i totally forgot about that im going to see that too when it comes out :D don't know what Ghost Rider is about but the title makes it sound good lol. Saw the 1st X-Men movie didnt really think it was that good so i didnt see the 2nd one. Well the next 2years are going to be great :D i got to admit though in the last 2years ive only saw about 4 films at the cinema and 2 of them were The Matrix and the matrix reloaded lol.

Superman is going to be released on June 30 2006 and it stars Brandon Routh as Superman, Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane, Kevin Spacey as Lex Luther and Hugh Laurie as Perry White. It also stars James Marsden,Sam Huntington, and Eva Marie Saint and is directed by Bryan Singer who directed X Men 1 and 2!
Batman Begins is due to be released on June 24 and it stars Christain Bale as Batman. I think this will one of the big films of this summer and I cant wait to see this film that returns Batman to the big screen after the disaster of the previous sequels!
I am really enjoying all these great comic book films at the moment. Also this year The Fantastic Four is also released on the July 22 starring Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis, and Chris Evans.
Spiderman 3 is has planned release date at the moment of 4 May 2007 so we have got a long wait for that film!

Ghost Rider is another Superhero from Marvel comics that I remember from when I was little.
A bit like "Spawn" in some ways, but it was done a lot earlier.

The image is of a leather clad biker, on a big bike, with a flaming skull as his head.

Also in Ghost Rider is Eva Mendes and Wes Bently (American Beauty) playing Blackheart. Shooting on Ghost Rider starts this month so that will be out in 2006!
Another comic book film out in 2006 as well as Ghost Rider is Hellboy 2 which I cant wait to see as I really liked Hellboy. Marvel also have plans for Hulk 2 and The Punisher 2 which should be released in either 2006 or 2007!
X Men 3 is going to start shooting by this summer for release in 2006. I cant wait to see Dark Phoenix on the big screen in X Men 3!

I forgot to mention that David Goyer who seems to be involved in the majority of comic book films as either writer or director is also meant to be doing The Flash who is a DC superhero and it rumoured that Ryan ReynolRAB is up for the main role in it!
Appartently The Rock is up for the main role in both the Sub-Mariner and Silver Surfer films that are being planned by Marvel!

Joel Silver has been talking about the new Wonder Woman film and getting Joss Whedon as the director:

"I'm trying," Silver said in an interview at WonderCon in San Francisco, reports Sci Fi Wire. "I'm trying to work a deal with Joss. ... I was just in the other room [where Whedon was talking about his upcoming SF movie, Serenity]. I don't know if I could work that out. It's a complicated deal to do, but I would love him to do it. It would be great if he could do it."

Silver adRAB, "It's just a great, legendary comic-book hero, and it's one that has never been kind of brought back to life after Lynda Carter [who starred in the 1970s Wonder Woman TV series]. I mean, it's a reinvention. ... Tim Burton reinvented Batman after Adam West, and ... [director Richard] Donner reinvented Superman after George Reeves. It's time to do that to Wonder Woman. It's a thing that could be great if it's done great. ... The idea is to try to find a way to make it, and I thought Joss has a great idea, because he understanRAB a kind of female superhero character, and also he's great at what he does. So I'm trying to find the best way to do it. ... We're working our way through it."

Columbia Pictures has set a US release date of August 4 2006 release date for Ghost Rider so along with X Men 3 and Superman Returns it should be a great summer for Superhero films!

It looks Ryan ReynolRAB will definatly play The Flash as he stated "We had a meeting last night about it and he's writing it right now. If Warner Bros. decides to greenlight it, I will be playing the role."
